Is PLAI compatible on my device?

PLAI is compatible on ALL devices.

You’ll just need to ensure your device is running the latest software as below:

on iPhone | Requires iOS 13.0 or later.

on Android |Requires Android 5.0 and up

on iPad | Requires iPadOS 13.0 or later.

on iPod touch | Requires iOS 13.0 or later.

on Mac | Requires macOS 11.0 or later and a Mac with Apple M1 chip or later.

I've JOINED A TEAM on PLAI but I can't see any Content?

Don’t worry, this isn’t unusual… let us explain.

There will be one of two reasons as to why this might be happening:

1. Your TEAM ADMIN(S) might still be in the set-up phase, if they haven’t yet created any content for your Team or Club, you won’t see much just yet but we’re sure it’s on its way!

If you KNOW that there is content there but you can’t see it, then…

2. This is a GROUPS issue. On accepting you into the Team, your Team Admin will assign you to a number of GROUPS at the Team or Club. You will only have visibility on content assigned to the GROUPS that you are positioned within by the Team Admin(s).

What should you do?

REACH OUT TO YOUR TEAM ADMINISTRATOR.

They will likely need to quickly reassign you to the correct content groups at the Club!

How do I JOIN A TEAM that’s already created on PLAI?

 It’s easy!

1. LOG IN to your PLAI mobile app & click the YELLOW “SEARCH NEARBY” button at the bottom right of your USER HOME SCREEN.

2. In the SEARCH BAR at the top of screen, type the name of your TEAM or CLUB and click enter.

3. Hit REQUEST TO JOIN and your Team Admin will accept you into the team shortly!

Can’t find your team? Check the SPELLING of your team or club name, or try a shortform version (i.e. for Brondesbury Cricket Club, try searching just for “Brondesbury”).

I am not receiving PUSH NOTIFICATIONS...help!

Firstly, make sure that you’re running the latest version of the PLAI mobile app, simply head to your iOS or Android App Store to see if there’s an update!

APPLE USERS

1. Check that your NOTIFICATIONS for PLAI are turned ON in your iPhone settings

Go to SETTINGS on your iPhone and scroll down to the PLAI option > click NOTIFICATIONS and ensure we can reach you!

2. Check that you’re not in Do Not Disturb mode. Notifications will be blocked in this mode.

Go to SETTINGS on your iPhone and scroll down to the FOCUS option > Select DO NOT DISTURB > Ensure this is turned off and that timings aren’t scheduled to block notifications.

3. Check your PLAI in-app Notification settings.

Open PLAI and enter your TEAM PAGE. Click the button in the TOP RIGHT of your team page to access your MANAGE NOTIFICATIONS screen, ensure all options are set to GREEN.

 ANDROID USERS

Same process as above! Just, you know, Android style… check also:

1. Select SOUND from the SETTINGS menu and ensure that you’re “loud and clear!”.

2. Click APPS or APPLICATION MANAGER from the SETTINGS menu. Find PLAI and ensure the SHOW NOTIFICATIONS option is checked.

3. Check your PLAI in-app Notification settings.

Open PLAI and enter your TEAM PAGE. Click the button in the TOP RIGHT of your team page to access your MANAGE NOTIFICATIONS screen, ensure all options are set to GREEN.

How can I change my CONTENT GROUPS on PLAI?

CONTENT GROUPS are how your team administrators control what you do & don’t see on the platform.

For example, you might be a member of the 1st TEAM group at your Team or Club – If a NEWS or EVENTS article was sent only to the 2nd TEAM group, you will not receive a notification as the communication was not targeting you or your 1st Team buddies! Just the 2nd Team, on this occasion.

To change your GROUPS, simply reach out to your team administrator! They can adjust your groups in a jiffy!

How do I reset my password?

Piece of cake!

If you’re struggling to LOG IN, just hit the FORGOT PASSWORD button from your LOG IN screen and follow the instructions.

If you’re LOGGED IN and just looking to CHANGE your password, go back to your user HOME SCREEN > SETTINGS > CHANGE PASSWORD.

How do I change my email address?

Your e-mail address is a really key component of our build – Our systems use this specific indicator to connect so many parts of your usable components & thus, should you need to change your email address, we recommend that you:

1. CREATE A NEW USER ACCOUNT with the email address you wish to use going forwards.

2. SEARCH FOR YOUR TEAM and REQUEST TO JOIN under your new account.

3. Reach out to your Team Administrator and ask that your old account be deleted from the Team or Club.

Once the Team Admin reassigns your new account to your correct content groups, job done!

How do I create a NEW TEAM on PLAI?

It’s easy!

Firstly, SIGN UP by creating a personal user account – It’s a really simple 2 minute process & can be executed via either the mobile application or at www.plaisport.com.

Once signed-up & logged in, click the + button at the bottom of the PLAI home-screen. You’ll see a secondary “+” button in the top right of screen that enables you to CREATE A TEAM!

Simply start entering your team information and our intuitive system will do the rest!

On the Web Portal…? If so, you can’t miss the CREATE A TEAM button on the left side of your main home screen, you know what to do from here!

How can I add events to the calendar on my computer or phone?

Simply enter your team page via the PLAI mobile app and click the purple SYNC button from the EVENTS tab.

Prefer to add events one at a time? Click into any team EVENT you want to sync from your PLAI mobile application onto your device(s). Hit the ADD TO CALENDAR button and job done!

Where is the Team Chat function?

Your team administrator can choose whether to ENABLE or DISABLE your Team Chat component.

If you know that the Team Chat is ENABLED but can’t see the button, try DELETING and RE-DOWNLOADING your PLAI mobile application.

Note also that the TEAM CHAT is not currently available to users under the age of 16, as we’re committed the safest possible environment for minors on the PLAI platform.
