Introducing the new live score feature on PLAI: Keep your club updated in real-time

At PLAI Sport, we’re always working to make managing your sports team easier and more efficient. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce our latest new feature on the PLAI app: Live Score.

Whether you’re playing football, cricket, or any other sport, you can now update match scores in real-time through the PLAI app, ensuring that parents, members, and fans stay connected – even when they can’t make it to the game.

In this blog, we’ll walk you through how the Live Score feature works and why it’s a game-changer for your club.

What Is the Live Score Feature?

Live Score is a dynamic new feature available on the PLAI app that allows you to post real-time updates for any match your club is hosting. Once the score is added, it’s visible to everyone who has access to the fixture on PLAI, ensuring your entire club community stays in the loop. Gone are the days when parents and members had to wait for text updates or post-game summaries – now, they can see everything live as it unfolds.

How It Works: A Step-by-Step Guide

Getting started with the Live Score feature is quick and easy. Follow these simple steps to update match scores in real time, ensuring everyone stays connected to the action, no matter where they are. 1. Open the PLAI App and Select a Fixture

From your team page, head to the Events tab and pick the match you want to add live scores to. Once in the event card, you’ll see all the match details – time, location, and coach information.

2. Update the Score

After clicking on the three dots to the right of the screen, select the Update Score button. Anyone with access to the fixture can update the score, making it incredibly convenient for busy coaches or team managers.

3. Enter the Details

– Add your team’s logo and the away team’s logo.

– Enter the team names and the current score (e.g., Cuxton Under-11s: 2, Bearsted: 1).

– You can also include match details like remaining time, yellow/red cards, substitutions, and key highlights.

– For example: “Billy in goal has been incredible, and Josh’s goal is a real champagne moment!”

4. Confirm and Share the Live Score

After confirming the score, the event card will automatically update with the latest information, including the live score, cards, and substitutions. Anyone following the game via PLAI will see these updates instantly, making them feel like they’re right there on the sidelines.
